USES OF SOAPNUT :Soapnut's key qualities are hair & skin care and as a washing & cleansing agent.
HAIR & SKIN CARE : In India, for centuries, Soapnut is used for head bath and body cleaning. The soapnut powder replaces synthetic / chemical shampoos with no side effects (No bleaching agents are added). After bathing with soapnut solution, a fine film remains on the surface of skin and hair - which is very soothing, cooling and healing. It proves to be a wonderful non-allergic soap - a boon for people with chronic, sensitive skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis and various rashes. It does not scour the skin. It also can be used as a baby soap. It cleans the scalp of dandruff and leaves the hair & skin shining and protectively screened as it soothes and prevents irritation.
WASHING & CLEANING :
Clothes : Hand wash or machine wash, when used with cold water tends to soften clothing. Especially used for fine wool and silk in preference to chemicals.

It acts against dandruff when used for shampooing. It is known as having peculiar properties to cure diabetes.
ACHYRANTHUS ASPERA : This is known as Apamarga in Sanskrit & Wonga in Hindi. It is supposed to cure leprosy, itches, eczema, boils and skin diseases. When used for bathing it cures rash on skin.
